Our Volunteers

This website was originally created in 2020,  for women to share their personal stories as well as a place to make information available to them about ADHD in women and related topics. We will continue to add new information as it becomes available.

We wish to raise awareness about the hidden disability that is still ravaging the lives of many women throughout Europe today and empower all people living with ADHD, of all genders and diverse cultures in society across the world.

Specialist-leader Adult ADHD at PsyQ in the Netherlands, Prof. J.J. Sandra Kooij has been serving on ADHD Europe’s Professional Advisory Board for many many years.

At PsyQ, not only do they help patients in their country, but open initiatives, dwelve into research,  and present their information Internationally to

– educate academic colleges

– provide updates for health care professionals

– increase the awareness of ADHD across the globe

–  give educative talks to share experiences in the medical field of ADHD

–  create tools, resources, write books, papers, webinars, podcasts (you may wish to use links to books/webinars/podcasts available)

–  involvement in research (with or without funding) to get the answers ‘ADHD Women’ are looking for (more news on latest developments to follow)

We are honored to be part of this network, and the research team from PsyQ.

In 2020, ADHS Deutschland in partnership with ADHD, ASC & LD Belgium was awarded a grant by the  European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA), within their #BrainLifeGoals campaign initiative inorder to launch a campaign to raise awareness about undiagnosed ADHD in women, focusing at first on Belgium and Germany.

The project has spread out under the wings of ADHD Europe since 2021  across European countries in various languages.
